"On behalf of the board and staff of the Center for Family Services, I would like to thank the United Way of Western Crawford County for presenting us with the 2009 Partner Agency of the Year Award at their annual meeting.  We are very honored to be chosen as the recipient of this award.  The United Way has been a great supporter of the Center as we strive to assist members of our community in times of need.  Our emergency funds, provided by the United Way, assist those families and individuals who have been hard hit by circumstances beyond their control.  These folks are the ones who slip through the cracks for eligibility in other programs.  We, at the Center, work with the United Way to take care of the people who are struggling, particularly during these tough economic times.  As we move forward, we will continue to "LIVE UNITED" by helping to support our neighbors througout this community." ~ Linda Bennett, Executive Director Center for Family Services, Inc.
